This year is the 20th anniversary of the SMCT Children's Remembrance Service. We were honoured to host this meaningful event on Sunday 7 December. It is a way for our community to come together, reflect and remember the children who are no longer with us.

For many families, attending this service has become a cherished tradition to remember their beloved children. For others, it may have been their first time joining us and we warmly welcomed you. We hope the service offered comfort, connection and a space for you to honour the memories of your children.

A highlight of the service was the recalling of the star Eternal Light. It is named in memory of each and every child we have remembered since the first service in 2005. This star stands as a symbol of enduring love, comfort and joy. It shines brightly in our night sky and will continue to do so for days, years, and generations that follow. We hope it serves as a reminder that through your grief, you are not alone.

We are grateful that we could share this special 20th year with you.
