Grief can feel deeply personal, but it does not have to be faced alone. The Grief Retreat offers a gentle, supportive space for anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. This dedicated day of remembrance, connection, and care brings together people who understand what you are going through, in a calm and welcoming environment.

Through guided well-being activities and supportive sessions, you will have the opportunity to better understand your grief, honour your loved one, and connect with others who share similar experiences. With compassionate support from specialist bereavement volunteers, this retreat offers space to reflect, feel supported, and take meaningful steps forward at your own pace.

What you will experience on the day

This thoughtfully designed program balances emotional support with practical tools to help you navigate grief beyond the day itself.

Throughout the retreat, you will be gently guided through:

  • Wellbeing and reflection sessions
  • Opportunities to honour and remember loved ones
  • Practical tools and insights to support your grief journey
  • Quiet moments for rest, reflection, and connection

Every element of the day is designed to feel accessible, nurturing, and pressure-free. You are welcome to participate in ways that feel right for you.

A calming sound healing session closes the day, helping you leave feeling grounded, supported, and at ease.

A safe and supportive environment

We understand that attending something like this can feel like a big step. You will be supported throughout the day by trained bereavement volunteers and surrounded by others who truly understand.
